Submission

 

Instruction to authors & presenters

  • Authors are invited to  submit full paper of original work in the paper format, including tables, figures and references. (before May 1)

  • Presenters are invited to submit abstract only.  (before May 1

  • Template

  • Submission entrance:  Easychair (You need sign up Easychair to submit the paper.) 

  • Authors or presenters will be selected through a refereed process and authors will be advised by May 1, 2017.

  • Selected authors should submit a final paper to icmst@zhconf.ac.cn. Please use Microsoft Word to compose your papers. Other documents required are registration form (word), copyright consent form (jpg or pdf), payment proof (jpg or pdf). Authors will get paper published in conference proceeding.

  • Selected presenters should submit a final abstract to icmst@zhconf.ac.cn  . Please use Microsoft Word to compose your abstract. Other documents required are registration form (word), payment proof (jpg or pdf). Presenters don't publish a paper and only need make oral presentations.  

  • Note that accepted papers within 5 pages will be published with no additional charge. Exceeding pages will be charged an additional fee. Author will get paper published in conference proceedings.
     


Instruction to listeners

  • Listeners are invited to register any time before the conference. But it is advised to register earlier.

  • Listeners should submit registration form (word), payment proof (jpg or pdf)  to icmst@zhconf.ac.cn .   


  • Publication

    This year, in the 8th ICMST, all accepted papers of ICMST 2017 will be peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers. All the registered and presented papers will be published in volume of Materials Science Forum (ISSN: 1662-9752), which indexed by Elsevier: SCOPUS, Ei Compendex (CPX), Index Copernicus Journals Master List, Google Scholar, etc.

    All volumes are submitted to Thomson Reuters (WoS) and selected ones will be indexed.

    Notice!

    All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:

    1. Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.
    2. Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)
    3. Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.
    4. Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarist”

Policy on Plagiarism

ICMST is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.
